Startups meet corporates at Nairobi SWIFT Challenge

Techies and financial technology startups will have the opportunity to discover more about the dynamic Startup ecosystem in Nairobi and meet with Finance Industry professionals in one of a series of events by FinTech Innovation Africa to be held in Nairobi.

FinTech Innovation Africa is a series of events and workshops in Africa during the week of the 27th of February 2017. After Cape Town and Johannesburg, the series will come to an end in Nairobi, Kenya.

The event is being sponsored by secure financial messaging services provider SWIFT.

The show will act as a feeder event for the SWIFT Innotribe Startup Challenge, which is the largest Emerging Markets FinTech innovation platform. This year the Startup Challenge will be run in both Africa and Russia.

10 Companies

The African event will feature 10 companies and be held in Abidjan, Ivory Coast, in partnership with SWIFT’s African Regional Conference. At the end of the showcase, we will announce the 3 finalists invited to Sibos in Toronto in October.

The second of the Nairobi events will be a meet and greet cocktail event. Hazel Nolan, the regional lead for Innotribe Startup Challenge, will be hosting the event and will discuss Innotribe and the Startup Challenge.
