Kenya’s Biggest Company Opens Another Headquarter

Kenya’s biggest company has opened another regional headquarter in Kisumu in order to bring its customer service closer to the people and grow revenues.

Safaricom which is also the most profitable company is seeking to offer targeted services for customers in specific parts of the country inorder and drive growth.

The telco on Tuesday opened its fourth regional office in the heavily populated lake region town to double down on growing incomes driven by devolution.

“This strategy has led to increased convenience for Safaricom customers, and enables us to have a closer understanding of their needs when designing our products and services,” Safaricom CEO Bob Collymore said.

The Kisumu regional office will serve ten counties in Western and Nyanza including Busia, Bungoma, Homabay, Kakamega, Kisii, Kisumu, Migori, Nyamira, Siaya, Vihiga and parts of Narok county.
