Entrepreneurs focused on agribusiness have a week to submit their applications for the World Bank and Nest led Agritech Challenge that starts in August.
Agriculture is seen as a key factor in driving abundance and help reduce poverty. The sponsors are seeking ideas that be made to benefit a large group of people and whose impact is exponential.
Startups and SMEs, supply chain and technologists have been invited to apply and their ideas if successful will have a chance to be commercialised through funding and mentorship beginning October.
The programme is open only to Kenya-based teams.
Applications close July 25, 2017. Applications will be reviewed on a rolling basis, so the sooner you submit the better!
